Stowe Cider
Stowe Cider was founded in 2013 with a vision of bringing something different to the cider scene- a version that boasted less than half the sweetness of most commercial cider. Stowe Cider is a favorite stop among visitors and locals alike. Whether sipping a cider aprés ski, taking a break from a leaf-peeping hike, or looking to enjoy some live music, guests are greeted with a consistently rotating tap selection, and more than 10 varieties available to go. Head Cider Maker and co-owner Mark Ray is constantly developing unique recipes that you will not find anywhere else. Ciders range from dry and preservative-free to others containing local fruits, hops, and unique barrel-aged offerings.
Champlain Orchards
Our ORCHARD-MADE cider is crafted from fruit grown with a conscience, in beautiful and pristine Vermont. Our cidery is located at Champlain Orchards, a family owned and ecologically-managed orchard overlooking Lake Champlain. Every single apple in our Vermont Hard Cider is pressed, fermented, and crafted at our orchard. This makes for a quality, local product that is fresh, crisp and deliciously drinkable.
Eden Ciders
A boutique winery in the heart of the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, Eden Specialty Ciders makes elegant, small batch ice ciders, harvest ciders and herb-infused aperitif ciders. We make ciders that are unique and innovative, but that also respect the rare and expensive apples we use while refraining from aggressive processing techniques. We instead let our specialty ciders reflect the true essence of the apple and the cold winter climate of Northern New England. All of the apples we use in our ciders are grown by local orchards using environmentally sustainable practices. Fostering a long term partnership, we work with the same growers year after year. In addition, we also grow over 50 apple varieties biodynamically at our farm. When you buy our ciders, you are supporting all of us and our working landscape.

THE ORIGINAL AMERICAN HARD CIDER

Tin Hat Cider
Vermont’s smallest cidery. Orchard steward, cider maker and musician, Teddy Weber began rejuvenating the 25-year old orchard at Mountain Valley Farm in Waitsfield, Vermont in 2013. With over 45 cultivars of apples and countless wild varieties from neighboring farms, Teddy makes traditional dry ciders using wild and cultured yeasts, slow fermentations at natural cellar temperatures, and long barrel aging. He also conducts ongoing research with native wild apples and works the results into his products. All apples are grown between 1000 & 2000 feet in the Mad River Valley and adjacent mountain towns. Tin Hat Ciders can be found at select retailers and special events in Vermont only.
Silo Distillery & Hard Cider
On the drier end of "semi-dry", this is the antithesis of sugary sweet. Bright and tart apple flavors are balanced in this cider that will leave you wanting more. Our flagship cider, made from apples grown on North Pomfret apple trees--- each one lovingly pruned, picked, and pressed at Moore's Orchard.
Boyden Valley Cidery
Boyden Valley Cidery has been working with local sustainable family farms for over 20 years. Four varieties of sparkling cider and one ice cider, crafted only with fresh ingredients, create a crisp cider with unforgettable flavor. All of our ciders start with Northern Spy, Empire, and McIntosh apples pressed at Brown’s Orchard, Castleton, Vermont. Cold fermented in stainless steel and lightly carbonated.
Fable Farm Fermentory
As farmer-winemakers, we embrace the local ecology of apples, soils and microorganisms as they influence the character of our living ciders. While our nursery trees continue to take root for future harvests, we derive our ciders from wild, abandoned and cultivated trees found throughout our farm and neighboring fields, forests, backyards and orchards.
Harpoon
City Roots ciders are fermented exclusively from fresh-pressed apples and never contain sweeteners, additives, or preservatives. Typically off-dry and naturally gluten free, they’re characteristically bright and clean with a crisp effervescence.
Boyer's Hard Cider
Our ciders range from semi-dry, champagne style, bourbon barrel aged, sweet ice ciders. We use a wide range of apples: Macintosh, Empire, Northern Spy and Roxbury Russet. In the next few years, we look forward to harvesting heirloom apples from the orchard for hard ciders with unique varieties including Yarlington Mill, Kingston Black, and Wickson.
